"What did I do in my vacations"

WELCOME BACK

I hope you had time to rest, to visit, to work, or to just think about something different from the University work.  Today, since it is only Monday, let's switch back to vacation mode, and create a post with the title "My Vacations of Holy Week".  Talk about your vacations, or if you had really boring vacations invent very fun and interesting activities and talk about them as if you lived it.

In the first part of the blog, write the layout of what you will write about. Take into account that you are required to create 4 paragraphs of 50 words each, for a total of 200 words maximum.  Your layout should have the ideas of what each sentence of the paragraph will contain.  For example this is my layout for my first paragraph:

In the second part start creating your full writing.  Be sure to use only 50 words per paragraph.  And create or upload a picture of your vacation.  Here is an example of the first paragraph based on the layout I did:

For my Holy Week vacation I wanted to go to a place where I connected with mother nature and relax from my stressful work.  For that reason, I went to Galapagos Islands, a fantastic paradise to live in peace with nature.  There are many activities that you can do in these Islands such as snorkeling with sharks, hike around different beaches, and enjoy the warm weather while you watch amazing animals. But these Islands are not just about having fun, Galapagos Islands are the home of the Galapagos Tortoise, a giant turtle that can only be found here.  In the following lines I will write about what I experienced in these wonderful Islands, starting with the connection with nature, and followed by the activities that I did, I hope you enjoy it.

Exercise with Relative Clauses

Complete the song that the teacher gave you by listening to these videos:

Correct your work with your teacher.  You have 10 minutes starting from the time your teacher tells you.

Create a post with the Title:  Relative Clauses with songs.

Write 4 DEFINING CLAUSES and 4 NON DEFINING CLAUSES per song about the stories presented in the videos.

Read at least the work of 2 classmates and write a comment where you tell them if the Clauses are defining or not.  Help them with corrections needed.  Write this in a comment under the post.

Defining and Non Defining Relative Clauses

Today we will learn about Defining and Non Defining Relative Clauses.

Create a Blog with the following Title:  "Defining and Non Defining Relative Clauses"

Answer the following questions:

1.  What is a relative Clause?
2.  What is a Defining Relative Clause?
3.  What is a Non-Defining Relative Clause?
4.  Create a chart where you give examples about Defining and Non Defining Relative Clauses.
5.  Embed a Youtube video to your blog and describe it using 4 Defining and Non Defining Relative Clauses.

Watch the following video:

1. Create a post with the title:  Superlatives and Comparatives.
2. Based on the vocabulary of the video, complete the following chart and post it in your blog:

Comparative	Superlative	Comparative	Superlative

3.  Based on the chart, select 2 comparatives and 2 superlatives that you have learned today.  Make a sentence with each one of them and create a Presentation on Google Docs, being very descriptive about your sentences.  One Slide per Sentence.  Follow this example:

Reported Speech and Good Manners Vocab

2.  In a new post in your blog with the Title:  "Task 2:  Past Perfect Simple and Continuos"  Write how many answers you got wrong in the first try.  Do the exercises again until they you don't have mistakes.

3.  Watch the following video and describe what is happening using the  Past Perfect simple and continuous.  Write it in your blog in NO more than 10 sentences not less than 5.
